Plum Bistro Cookbook
One of the perks of being a vegan blogger is getting free goods & gratis to review! One of the most exciting gifts to come my way recently was this gorgeous cookbook: “Plum: 60 Gratifying Vegan Dishes from Seattle’s Plum Bistro.” Plum is a collection of vegan chef Makini Howell’s most celebrated recipes from her acclaimed Seattle based eatery, Plum Bistro. While I haven’t had the opportunity (YET!) to dine there myself, should I ever make it to Seattle (AND I PLAN TO, FOR THIS RESTAURANT ALONE), it is on the top of my list. One look into their philosophy & you’ll know why:
We like to think of what we create at Plum as being a bridge, a space to create community. Our name Plum itself represents a gathering space for all, inspired by the Japanese meaning of the plum tree, which symbolizes hope & community, constancy & kindness & the triumph of good over hardships.

The cookbook is full of stunning photos & mouthwatering recipes that you’ll want to make immediately – from basic & fundamental tips; soups & salads; tofu, tempeh & seitan; & transitional raw recipes; to wholesome grains; indulgent pasta dishes; & decadent desserts! I cannot wait to cook my way through the pages of this book!
