Infared Sauna assists with Stress Relief, Relaxation, Detoxification, Skin Radiance and Weight Loss
What is an Infrared Sauna?
A radiant heat from part of the natural light spectrum of sunlight and a safe form of energy that heats objects by a process called direct light conversion. These waves of heat are the safest and most beneficial rays from the sun, and are perceived as a gentle, comfortable type of radiant heat.
Infrared saunas have been around since 2000, but have become increasingly popular and mainstream the last 2-3 years. Dr. Oz went on an episode of Oprah a few years back and talked about the benefits of using infrared saunas.
About our Infrared Sauna at Symmetry
Our sauna has carbon fiber heaters, and offers a dry heat ( not steam ). You may bring electronics such as a laptop, ipod, cell phone, etc… these items will not be harmed. Or you can just simply sit and relax with ambient music and lightening.
Using our Sauna
You may wear a bathing suit/shorts or you can sit nude, whatever you are more comfortable with. The sauna is one person seating, and the room is private with a door that locks behind you if that helps you decide. Plus, the infrared is great for helping calm any skin condition, such as Rosacea and Eczema, it can also make the appearance of normal skin appear more radiant and smooth.
We supply a wrap garment for you to sit in and a face towel. You may bring an extra towel or seat pillow for extra sitting comfort.
Sometimes called color therapy, color healing, colorology or chromopathy, chromotherapy is defined as a system of alternative medicine in which colors and their energy frequencies are used to correct psychological or physical imbalances. A more general definition simply states that chromotherapy is based on the premise that certain colors are infused with healing energies.
